Configirona extends its production with a high range new line of chocolate products

 
Configirona, familiar company with more than 70 years of experience in the elaboration of treats, caramels, pills and chocolates, has started up a new line of chocolates, arribing at the stores before summer. We’re talking about Gerio’s confectionary and consists in a small chocolate candy stuffed of fruits, unlike the rest of products of the market, it has not a compact nucleus, but the filling is made up of cream of cacao with the dry fruit in small pieces, which " it confers to him, to the palate, a flavor and a different texture" ,as Emilio Fernandez commercial director of Configirona explains (photo, next to the delegate of the center zone and Extremadura).

The new range is conceived for sale in bulk in impulse stores, but its presentation will not be, as habitual for this type of articles, in plastic bags,now the product is offered with attractive transparent storage jars with a well-taken care decoration, and a 1.2 kg capacity. At first, Gerio’s Confectionery has two references: pills of small hazelnut pieces with black and milk chocolate. After summer new references will arrive, between six and eight, with different fillings, some of them, like newness, will have pills of sugar colored with metalised colors, like silver and gold. In addition, Configirona has initiated a process of redefinition of its range of infantile sugar confectionery, formed at the moment by marshmallow lollypops, hard candy with and without stick, gelatine candies and chewing-gum, among others, distributed in the Spanish market through agreements with china manufacturers. " We are going to be more selectives with products from China and we’re going to remain with references of the suppliers that offers major quality to us and that better work " , Fernandez adds.
